That is the fairway, Bella, otherwise Americans will be fresher for the World League and the Olympics, not that now it is very equal with these weak teams in their competition :read:

We examined many dietary factors and found associations with several. However, the clearest findings in this study of healthy women were a positive association between intake of total energy and milk and circulating IGF-I levels.

With there only being one spot open for South America, there will probably be only 4 or 5 teams participating in the tournament. The CSV probably feels that there is no need to have the tournament early because only 1 team would qualify outside of Brazil period.

In 2008, Venezuela won the tournament, and Argentina played in the final qualifier in Japan, but finished 4th.

The 3rd best team in South America would probably not qualify in my opinion over an Asian team like Iran.

Polish presses always bring me surprises:
Source: http://www.przegladsportowy.pl/Siatkowka…6240,1,892.html

In the end of this passage, it is mentioned that best players will not be the leaders of skill rankings, but be selected by experts. They will pick out players to make a dream team, in which are two receivers, two blockers, one opposite, one setter and one libero.

Is there any Poles volunteer to give us some details?
Stop believing.

This qualification process is a real mess ... ?(
Anyway, as an information, the teams participating in the European qualification tournament seem to be the ones below.
If the CEV uses their normal seeding scheme, the groups should look like this:
Group A
BUL
GER
ESP
SLO

Group B
ITA
SRB
FIN
SVK

After many unlucky drawings, this looks like the best possible pool for Germany.
But to go to the Olympics one has to WIN this tournament ...

Pool B is really a challenge... All four teams are among the best in the Europe. Perhaps the top 2 of pool B will meet in the final.

I don't think the pools will look like that. It was said in some media here that Bulgaria will be in one pool with eighter Serbia or Italy.

So maybe those media were wrong? CEV always did groups as like Bayer wrote, so I guess, it will be done as like Olympic groups.

In Bulgaria , in hotel "Kempinski" in Sofia. Dancho Lazarov (the president of our federation) said that the official accredited people for the drawing from CEV are the First Vice president of CEV Philippe Berben and also Slobodan Milosevic - Secretary-general of Serbian Volleybal Federation and member of the Sports Commission to CEV.
