It will be played from 17.-22.september 2010.

Participating teams:

Italy,Netherlands,Germany,Turkey,Russia,Serbia

Poland is already qualified.

The winner of European league 2010. will qualify for WGP 2011. If the winner is Serbia or Tuirkey, then Bulgaria gets to play WGP qualifications.

So, the 4 european teams for WGP 2011 will be: Poland+Winner of European league+2 teams from European qualifications.

I'm happy that Poland is playing in this tournament again. :drink:

Grand Prix 2011 is really important tournament because it gives a possibility to gain world ranking points before olympic qualification tournaments. I hope that this year we won't lose so many ranking points as we lost in 2006 (15th place on World Championships...)

Why is Poland already qualified? Have they won any tournament which qualified them beforehand? Or is it just the influence of the Polish Federation on FIVB at the backstage?

Why will the tournament be held in September? But the weather will be cooler than in August in Macao which is better to European countries. :gone:

Italy and Russia may win those 2 tickets although Netherlands, Germany and even Turkey are strong teams as well.

I hope FIVB gives more tickets to Europe :wall:
