I don't know exactly when but I think it was Tara Cross-Battle or Keba Phipps with Bergamo some time around 2000.

I did a quick search on cev.lu (http://www.cev.lu/Competition-Area/History.aspx?ID=551)

Seems like there's no American player won the CL title since 1997-98 season, I might be wrong, but this is what I get from archive.

There's no any team information available before 97-98 season.

Bergamo was in CL finals both 98-99 and 99-00 season but there's no American on the active roster.

You're right, Phipps and Cross-Battle were in Bergamo in 2001/02 but they lost CL final vs Cannes in that year.

Yes, I believe Keba Phipps was the last American to win the Champions League with Bergamo during 1996-97 season. She's the most successful American in Serie A.

it was named Champions league? Therese Crawford won in 2002-03 with Modena Euro cup, I think CL.
